Normally Dynamics 365 CE Mobile App users get access through:

1. Login into Dynamics 365 CE

4. Business Management tab

5. In the Privacy Related Privileges section, verify that Dynamics 365 for mobile is set to Organization. If not Select Dynamics 365 for mobile.

6. Select Save and Close to save the changes to the security role.

7. Send an email to mobile-enabled users to let them know they can download the mobile app from the app store. Include the organization URL and sign – in information in the email.

Finally:

Dataverse and Dynamics 365 CE include the ability to audit user access.

Audit log is generated when a user access the Dynamics 365 apps through the Dynamics 365 mobile app.

Note: There is not a new event type that indicates the access was through the mobile app. The audit login events would appear as “USER ACCESS VIA WEB”.

That’s it for today.

Simplify and optimize segments using query assist copilot in Dynamics 365 Marketing

Hello Everyone,

Today I am going to share new feature on Dynamics 365 Marketing on how to simplify and optimize segements using query assist copilot.

Let’s get’s started.

Before when we create a segment we have to manually select the conditions to complete the segmentation of the records.

Now with updated copilot -enhanced query assist streamlines your workflow and enables effective teamwork.

We can just type a plain english statement and assist copilot functionality can get real time journeys to create segments.

All you need to do is to cross check the intended outcome by translating the logic into a natural language description of the segement.

Then users who views or consume segments created by others can use the copilot funtionality to identify which audience the segment captures without needing to understand the segment creation logic.

Assist Copilot also offers suggested improvements during segment creation to help eliminate reludant conditional statements and further improve segment comprehension and performance.

Notes:

2. Optimize segements effortlessly by eliminating redundant conditional statements.
